From astronaut Malerba&#8217;s space greenhouse to the marine depths of Nemo&#8217;s Garden, and the prototypes of the Italian Institute of Technology, Euroflora 2025 will offer the public the opportunity to experience firsthand the future of innovation applied to cultivation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Franco Malerba, the first Italian astronaut, will present a prototype of his space greenhouse, the result of research by SpaceV, an innovative technology that will pave the way for growing plants in space, with potential applications on Earth in challenging environments. The Italian Institute of Technology, a key participant at Euroflora, will showcase its robot for precision vineyard pruning; bioplastics from vegetable waste, 100% biodegradable materials that could replace plastic in various sectors; and natural extracts against oxidative stress, the result of studies on the use of winemaking by-products and other extracts to combat cellular aging and neurodegenerative diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Nemo&#8217;s Garden, the world&#8217;s first underwater farm, the future of agriculture comes from the sea. Visitors can explore a life-size replica of the transparent biospheres anchored to the seabed off Noli, Liguria.
