{"id":2040,"date":"2024-04-11T10:40:34","date_gmt":"2024-04-11T08:40:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.euroflora.genova.it\/dove-e-quando\/"},"modified":"2024-09-19T10:23:02","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T08:23:02","slug":"where-and-when","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.euroflora.genova.it\/en\/where-and-when\/","title":{"rendered":"Where and when"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>WHERE AND WHEN<\/h1>\n<h2>From 24 April to 4 May 2025<\/h2>\n<hr>\n<h2>GENOA &#8211; Italy<\/h2>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><strong><em>Euroflora 2025 will be held from 24 April to 4 May 2025 in Genoa&#8217;s new Eastern Waterfront district. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The &#8216;reborn&#8217; Euroflora will welcome visitors to the new thirty-thousand-square-meter urban park, lead them to admire the spectacular cylinder inside the Palasport Pavilion, continue in the outdoor areas by the sea and then along a floating path consisting of 51 pontoons installed in the docks, and finally reach the large Jean Nouvel Pavilion, totalling an area equivalent to nearly 14 football fields. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Euroflora will be back to its original venue, the former fair and exhibition centre, which is currently undergoing extensive urban regeneration works based on a project by Genoa-born architect Renzo Piano. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/RPBW-OBR_Waterfront-di-Levante_07-min-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"Waterfront\"><\/p>\n<h2>WATERFRONT<\/h2>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><em><strong>Embracing Renzo Piano\u2019s vision, the Waterfront di Levante project designed by RPBW and OBR aims to recreate a strong urbanity on the sea, addressing the theme of the Port starting from the city, redeveloping the abandoned areas of the former Fair. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>It\u2019s an urban patching, transforming what first was a backside with no view, occluded and disconnected from the city, into a new landmark on Genoa\u2019s seafront, with new urban and port functions, both public and private.
